Guidelines for preparation and submission of proposals for outreach activities at the Fields Institute.
The Fields Institute is currently accepting proposals for the June 15, 2024, competition here. Please note that due to budgetary constraints, we may not be able to review applications for funding that are less than nine months from the next competition date.

Deadlines for submission of proposals for outreach activities are February 15, June 15, and October 15 of each year. A lead-time of at least 9 months is requested between the deadline for submission and the date of the event. Proposals are considered by the Institute's Directorate and decisions are normally announced within 6 weeks of each deadline.
The Fields Institute provides support up to $25,000 for projects whose goal is to promote mathematical culture at all levels and bring mathematics to a wider audience. Faculty, staff, and students at Fields sponsoring universities or affiliates considering organizing such an activity and seeking Fields Institute support are invited to submit a proposal.
Proposals should include a detailed description of the proposed activity as well as of the target audience. A budget indicating other sources of support is also required.
